Cantor Shimon Leitner was born in Israel and came to United States at the age of Three. He is the son of R' Avraham Leitner. At a young age he accompanied his father a well known Baal Tefila. He studied cantorial music by famous cantors including Cantor Moishe Bazian OBM.He attended concerts of the great chazanim. He served as the cantor at Congregation Sons Of Israel in Bensonhurst Brooklyn for a decade among other synagogues where he davened including in the NY/NJ Tri State area & in Florida and also in Michigan. He currently serves as the high holiday cantor at Congregation Agudas Achim in Brooklyn NY.
